Red Wiggler Worms Our worms are weighed separately, and then placed back in compost and bedding. We sell "bedrun", which means there will be mature worms, young worms, and cocoons in the mix. The young worms and cocoons adapt more easily to a new environment and give you more worms per lb--the best deal in the worm world! A pound will have somewhere near 1,000 worms.

Pre-made Worm Bins $40 Perfect size for the home vermicomposter. We set up a "working" worm bin with already established microbial activity and a habitat the worms enjoy and are adapted too. The bin is a pre-drilled and properly ventilated 10 gallon container with compost, bedding and 1/2 lb of red wiggler worms. *Bedding may be newspaper, cardboard, leaves, or straw--depending on what is available and if your bin will be an indoor or outdoor bin.

Texas Worm Ranch--Worm Wine (TM) $7/gallon Our signature product of high quality vermicompost, rainbarrel water, and molasses--delivered in recycled gallon jugs. Brewed when you order so that you can use it at it's maximum microbial activity that benefits your yard, vegetable garden, trees, containers or flowerbeds. Our customers use Worm Wine (TM) to encourage plants to uptake nitrogen and other nutrients from the soil, perk up plants and increase production, and have had great success using it as an anti-fungal.

What is in Worm Wine (TM)? Our worms are fed a diet of composted horse barn waste, fruit and veggie scraps, and bedding composed of leaves, cardboard, newspaper, and rotted straw. This mix produces a rich vermicompost full of nutrients and beneficial microbes for your plants. The molasses in the Worm Wine (TM) encourages the growth of a beneficial microbe colony, by giving it a ready food source. We use rainbarrel water because the chemicals in tap water might kill the microbes. Everything in Worm Wine, except the molasses, is a recycled or repurposed product. We make Worm Wine (TM) when you order it and keep it oxygenated (living organisms need oxygen) while it brews the microbes to full working capacity. Added to your soil or fed to the leaves of your plants, Worm Wine (TM) will help you have healthy, vibrant and productive plants.
